Introducing Pia Studios
Pia Studios was born by the sea, where light dances on water and salt air carries stories from distant shores. Each piece of jewellery begins as an echo of the ocean, shifting tides, sun-bleached sand, the raw beauty of coral and stone translated into sculptural silver that feels both elemental and timeless.
What started in Bali, among black sand beaches and open skies, has grown into a journey, a celebration of wanderlust, of freedom, of treasures gathered along the way. Every ring and necklace is hand-formed with intention, carrying the marks of the maker and the rhythm of the places that inspired it.
Worn close to the skin, Pia Studios pieces are talismans of adventure, dramatic yet timeless, organic yet refined. They hold the essence of travel and the pull of the sea, designed for anyone drawn to shifting tides, open skies, and stories yet to be told.
The brand was founded by Madi Chambers, whose journey with jewellery began in Bali, where she trained in traditional silversmithing. Learning from skilled artisans there gave her both the technical foundation and a deep respect for the patience and artistry behind handmade jewellery.
After her time abroad, Madi returned home to Banbridge, Northern Ireland, where she established her studio. Her collections draw inspiration from the textures and movement of the sea, the influences of her travels, and the grounding sense of home.
Working mainly in 100% sterling silver, Madi handcrafts bold, sculptural statement pieces that are designed to feel both contemporary and timeless. Each piece is individually made, carrying with it the marks of the maker and a sense of individuality, no two are ever quite the same.
At its heart, the brand is about creating jewellery that tells a story: inspired by place, shaped by journey, and crafted to be worn and cherished for years to come.
THe Story Behind the Name
"Pia Studios was named after my very first teddy bear, Pia, my childhood comfort and first little love. Sadly, she didn’t survive an encounter with my puppy Riley, but the name stuck with me. I always imagined I’d name my baby Pia one day, but instead, it became the name of my creative baby, my jewellery brand. Pia Studios is built on that same sense of nostalgia, warmth, and care, pieces made with meaning, designed to be loved for years to come."
